Rowdy Players Suspended by League Tuesday, July 11th , 2045 Ichiro Toyota of Peoria and Salvador Medina of Hagerstown were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Toyota will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Medina was given 7 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Toyota is presently hitting at a .313 pace with 5 home runs, 37 RBIs and has scored 49 times. During this season he has made 35 relief appearances, earning a 1-2 record with no saves. In 49.2 innings Medina has struck out 49 with a 7.43 ERA. |
