3-HR Dream Game for Sanchez

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Dow Diamond buzzing, Great Lakes Loons shortstop Jerry Sanchez blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 10-7 win over the Hartford Yard Goats.
"Everything was clicking," Sanchez told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Sanchez shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Loons manager Aaron Holbert said. "Jerry played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Jerry Sanchez hit a solo-shot off Freddy Barahona in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Angelo Ayala in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Goodale in the 8th.
Sanchez is hitting .280 this year with 23 home runs, 64 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 332 at-bats, 20 walks and a .320 on-base percentage. Sanchez has played in 88 games.
