League Issues 5-Game Suspensions for Brawl Monday, July 31st , 2045 The fans at Dozer Park saw it all yesterday in the Chiefs-Mets game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Peoria's Immel Kamuzu and Binghamton's Alex Sandidge were ejected from the game. Today the two players were suspended 5 games by the league commissioner. This year Kamuzu is batting .273 with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs. In 52 games he has scored 20 times. |
