July's Premier Pitcher Announced by NL Tuesday, August 1st , 2045 Juan Garcia was the best pitcher in July according to the voters. He severely shut down opposition batters to win the National League Pitcher of the Month Award. Dayton's star reliever compiled a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.51 in 35.2 innings with 34 strikeouts and no saves in no save opportunities. So far this season, Garcia has a 9-3 won-lost record with no saves.
