Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Myers Monday, August 7th , 2045 The hitting streak for Lakewood second baseman Chris Myers now stands at 20 games, but the BlueClaws dropped today's contest 8-7 to the Kane County Cougars. Myers went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Chris Myers grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Myers is batting .335 with 3 home runs. |
