In the Clinton's 28-0 win over Lexington today, left fielder Kenny Gerrity was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ashford University Field. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Gerrity said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Kenny Gerrity hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. Gerrity is presently hitting at a .230 pace with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and has scored 8 times. |
