Pujols Rips Lexington for 5 Hits Sunday, August 13th , 2045 Clinton LumberKings third baseman Danny Pujols went 5-for-6 today and paced Clinton to a 34-1 victory over the Lexington Legends at Ashford University Field. "Well, that was fun," Pujols said following the game. Danny Pujols hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Brian Carlson in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 6th. Pujols on the season is hitting .253 with 9 home runs. His stats include 23 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
