TinCaps Josh Parker Wins NL Award Monday, August 14th , 2045 So far in his young career, Josh Parker has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Fort Wayne TinCaps first baseman hit at a torrid .520 clip as he collected 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Parker is currently batting .300 with 5 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
