Hits Blitz for Intimidators Ballard Wednesday, August 16th , 2045 Dusty Ballard stole the headlines today, hitting for the cycle in the Kannapolis Intimidators' 33-1 win over the Lexington Legends. "Well that was fun, huh?" he said, smiling, after the game. His 6 hits got the Intimidators offense going and his 10 runs batted in and 5 runs scored helped to seal the verdict. Dusty Ballard hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. In his 2045 season totals, Ballard has 13 home runs, .302 BA, .412 OBP, 74 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
