5-for-6 Day for Bresnahan Thursday, August 17th , 2045 Jason Bresnahan was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, the Kannapolis third baseman blistered the Lexington Legends for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 31-1 victory. "Bresnahan was too tough to get out today," Legends skipper Tyler Sturdevant said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jason Bresnahan hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Bubar in the 7th and walked in the 9th. To date this year Bresnahan is batting .312 with 4 home runs. |
