Welch Hits in 25 Straight Games Thursday, August 17th , 2045 The hot bat of Loons left fielder Ken Welch continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 7-3 loss to the Timber Rattlers at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in."
