AL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 21st , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American League, but last week Butch Brown of the Burlington Bees reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Brown rocked opposing pitching for a .588 average (10-for-17), 4 home runs and 18 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Brown is hitting .268 with 52 hits, 4 home runs, 35 RBIs, scored 42 runs and played in 54 games. |
