5-for-6 Game for Stever

Chance Stever was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Harry C. Pohlman Field, the Beloit left fielder blistered the Lexington Legends for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 28-0 victory.
"Stever was too tough to get out today," Legends skipper Tyler Sturdevant said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Chance Stever hit a two-run home run off Brian Carlson in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
This season in 55 games Stever is batting .323 with 22 home runs, 69 RBIs and has scored 47 times.
