RiverDogs Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 29th , 2045 Did anyone think the Charleston RiverDogs had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the RiverDogs last missed the playoffs in 2039. In the 30 years they have been a Midwest League franchise, they have made the playoffs 5 times. In the last 10 seasons, the RiverDogs have only missed the playoffs once. |
