3 Bombs for Nate Trahan Sunday, September 10th , 2045 Fans are still buzzing after Lake County whipped the Charleston RiverDogs by the score of 18-1 today at Classic Park. Nate Trahan smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 4 hits in 6 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Trahan said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Trahan said. "Three is just... wow." Nate Trahan struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Aneirin Cadwallader in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Harry McCasland in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Gabe Torres in the 8th. Presently Trahan is batting .228 with 24 home runs and 94 RBIs. He has played in 122 games and scored 75 times. |
