Big Day for Ramos: Swats 5 Hits Friday, September 15th , 2045 Delmarva defeated Lexington today at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The star of the game for the Shorebirds was first baseman Edwin Ramos. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-7 day, paving the way for Delmarva's 31-1 triumph over the Legends. Edwin Ramos hit a two-run home run off Bryan Alfaro in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 4th, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 8th. So far this season Ramos is batting .319 with 41 home runs, 95 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 304 at-bats, 37 walks and a .401 OBP. Ramos has played in 80 games. |
