George Hittin' on All Cylinders Monday, September 18th , 2045 Lakewood BlueClaws right fielder Josh George had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the BlueClaws 12-0 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at First Energy Park. "Everything was just clicking today," he said. George shelled the Timber Rattlers for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 4 runs batted in and scored 2 runs. Josh George singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Tom Barone in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th. This year George is batting .289 with 26 home runs and 86 RBIs. In 130 games he has scored 91 times. |
