West Michigan's Boyce Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, September 25th , 2045 Jared Boyce burst onto the American League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for West Michigan garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .533 (8-for-15) with 6 home runs and 12 RBIs last week. Thus far this year Boyce is hitting .271 with 10 home runs, 32 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
