Star of the Week Picked in NL Monday, September 25th , 2045 So far in his young career, Josh George has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Lakewood BlueClaws right fielder hit at a torrid .417 clip as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. George is currently hitting at a .291 pace with 30 home runs, 93 RBIs and has scored 96 times. |
