AL's Best Batter Announced Sunday, October 1st , 2045 Jared Boyce made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the American League this past month. The West Michigan Whitecaps catcher shined through the month of September and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .379 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 13 runs scored. This year Boyce is batting .279 with 34 hits, 10 home runs, 33 RBIs, 15 walks, .389 OBP and has scored 17 runs. |
