Bowling Green Takes Wildcard Series Friday, October 6th , 2045 Fans of the Beloit Snappers groaned when Mark Marvin stepped up to the plate in the Wildcard Series. And for good reason too, as the Bowling Green Hot Rods player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Snappers. The series was clinched tonight at Harry C. Pohlman Field, with Bowling Green coming out on top 1-0 in the deciding game. Marvin's strong series included a .292 batting average, with a .320 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
