Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Wisconsin Prevails Saturday, October 7th , 2045 It was a rousing finish to the Wildcard Series at NewBridge Bank Park today. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers sent the Greensboro Grasshoppers home for the season with a 3-0 win in the decisive game of the series. The Timber Rattlers took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the Division Championship. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Wisconsin left fielder Paul Collins. His numbers included a .310 batting average, 8 RBIs and 2 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Division Championship," he said. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
