Crawdads Dominate, Sweep Division Championship Friday, October 13th , 2045 The Hickory Crawdads had all facets of their game going and have swept the West Michigan Whitecaps in the Division Championship. Hickory now heads off to the Conference Championship, after wrapping up the series with a 7-0 win. Bernie Varela was named MVP, as he put up a .421 batting average, with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes. |
