Lansing Takes Division Championship Tuesday, October 17th , 2045 Pauli Gassinger has led his Lansing Lugnuts to a Division Championship victory. Lansing's left fielder was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Bowling Green Hot Rods. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the Conference Championship with a 7-6 triumph at Bowling Green Ballpark in the deciding game. Gassinger was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .600 average, as well as 2 home runs and 2 RBI. The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes. |
