Braves Heading to World Series Thursday, October 26th , 2045 By a score of 7-6, the Atlanta (MID) Braves have sealed a victory in the Conference Championship over the Augusta GreenJackets. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said left fielder Erik Gretzky of the Braves, who was named the series MVP. "The GreenJackets knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Atlanta (MID) will come in the World Series, after winning this series 4-2. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes. |
