Atlanta (MID) Pitcher Racks Up Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, November 22nd , 2045 The Atlanta (MID) Braves have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Sean Geer, this year's National League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Geer compiled a 21-4 record in 31 starts, tallied 249 strikeouts in 215.1 innings and recorded a 2.26 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .197 batting average against him. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jeff Olech of the Atlanta (MID) Braves finished second in voting, while Juan Garcia of the Dayton Dragons finished third.
