2045 Top Player Honored By NL Thursday, November 23rd , 2045
The manager of the Hartford Yard Goats said he thinks Bill McGregor is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2045 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the National League Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .362 batting average and a .468 on-base percentage this year. In 135 games he piled up 182 hits, 37 doubles, 11 triples, 11 home runs, 79 RBIs and 120 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 30. Sean Geer of the Atlanta (MID) Braves finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Leo Gomez of the Dayton Dragons finished third with 3 first place votes.
