Pacheco Hittin' on All Cylinders Monday, June 12th , 2045 Gustavo Pacheco hit for the cycle and paced the Minnesota (NYP) Twins to a 34-0 victory over the Tri-City ValleyCats at Baseball City Complex today. The Twins center fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 7 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 7 runs batted in and 4 runs. "Now that I know what Gustavo is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Minnesota (NYP) manager Anel De Los Santos joked with reporters after the game. Gustavo Pacheco hit a three-run home run off T.J. Westover in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Pacheco is hitting .294 with 3 home runs. |
