Gould Goes Cycling Tuesday, July 11th , 2045 Minnesota (NYP) Twins second baseman Sean Gould had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Twins 16-10 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars at Melaleuca Field. "Everything was just clicking today," he said. Gould shelled the Chukars for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. Sean Gould flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bryan Kiefer in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This season Gould has hit 4 home runs and posted a .255 batting average. |
