Cantu Goes on Rampage Against ValleyCats Thursday, July 13th , 2045 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Aberdeen's 13-8 win over Tri-City today, left fielder Antonio Cantu was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ripken Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Cantu said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Antonio Cantu singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Arsène Serre in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Currently Cantu is batting .264 with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
