Nunez on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, August 14th , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the McNamara Division, but last week Jose Nunez of the Minnesota (NYP) Twins reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nunez rocked opposing pitching for a .524 average (11-for-21), 3 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. Nunez has collected 85 hits for the Twins this year, 10 of them home runs. He has also netted 69 RBIs and scored 55 runs while batting .314. |
