Doubledays Bauman Snags NL Player of the Week Monday, August 21st , 2045 Steve Bauman went on a week-long hitting streak against National League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Auburn left fielder battered the opposition for 14 hits, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 7 runs. He hit .519 and posted a .567 on-base percentage.
