Big Day for Waugaman: Swats 5 Hits Friday, August 25th , 2045 Hudson Valley Renegades second baseman Eric Waugaman really lit up the Mahoning Valley Scrappers with a 5-hit barrage today at Dutchess Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Renegades to a 23-10 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Eric Waugaman hit an RBI single in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 7th. Waugaman is hitting .294 this year with 6 home runs and 50 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .360, 30 walks and scored 56 times. |
