Star of the Week Awarded in NL Monday, August 28th , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National League, but last week Omar Jordan of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Jordan rocked opposing pitching for a .409 average (9-for-22), 3 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Jordan is batting .219 and has collected 4 home runs, 21 RBIs, .303 OBP and scored 16 runs. |
