Lowe and Williams Suspended for Free-for-All Tuesday, August 29th , 2045 If there wasn't a history between Ryan Lowe of Everett and Jason Williams of Aberdeen, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 11 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Lowe said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." On the year Lowe is hitting .351 with 149 hits, 39 home runs, 136 RBIs, .511 OBP and has scored 142 runs. Williams has posted a 2-7 record for the year with a 5.69 ERA. Teams are hitting .266 against him and he has rung up 72 strikeouts in 61.2 innings. |
