Kellerman Caps Great Week Monday, September 4th , 2045 20-year-old Gregg Kellerman made a few West Virginia headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and National League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 17 hits in 38 at-bats to put up a .447 average. Kellerman collected 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 15 runs. This year Kellerman is hitting .304 with 151 hits, 18 home runs, 114 RBIs and has scored 98 runs. |
