Collins Batters West Virginia Big Time

All game long, Milwaukee (NYP)'s Paul Collins was rattling the walls at Russell Diethrick Park and banging out base hits against the West Virginia Black Bears. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Brewers had a 15-13 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Paul Collins hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Matt Decker in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This year Collins is batting .362 with 21 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 11 times and has batted in 11 runs.
