Injury Forces Brown Out of Baseball Thursday, September 21st , 2045 The baseball career of Chris Brown is over. A spokesperson for the Aberdeen Ironbirds clarified earlier comments about the 26-year-old reliever. Brown, he said, will retire effective immediately as the result of a torn labrum. Though he had spoken optimistically about playing again, Brown informed the team that he has decided to retire.
