Williamsport Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Sunday, September 24th , 2045 It's all about playing for pride now. The playoff hopes of the Williamsport Crosscutters were officially and mathematically vanquished today. The Crosscutters have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 30 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2042. In the last 10 seasons, the Crosscutters have missed the playoffs 7 times. Williamsport last won the World Series in 2021. |
