Saturday, October 28th , 2045
New York-Penn League fans were certainly not disappointed with this McNamara Division Conference Championship.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Vancouver Canadians prevailing over the Spokane Indians to advance to the World Series.

Vancouver won the final game by a score of 7-4 at Avista Stadium and that sealed the series 4-3.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman Kennet Strijbis, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Strijbis hit .370 with a .393 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 1 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes.
