Luis Brown was a calming influence out of the Connecticut Tigers bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the McNamara Division Reliever of the Year for 2045.

The Pascagoula, Mississippi native won the award with 21 saves in 57 relief appearances, 69 strikeouts in 74 innings and a record of 4-4 to go with his 2.55 ERA.

He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 30. Yang Meng of the Hudson Valley Renegades finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Josh Halvorson of the Minnesota (NYP) Twins finished third.
