NYP Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Kawai

The 2045 McNamara Division Outstanding Pitcher Award winner is Masataka Kawai of the Spokane Indians.

He started 28 games and compiled a 27-1 record with an ERA of 2.09 in 202.2 innings with 261 strikeouts.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Erik Sever of the Spokane Indians finished second in voting, while Steve Pratt of the Vancouver Canadians finished third.
