Best Pitcher Honor Goes to Rasdall of Boise

The National League announced today that Danny Rasdall has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2045. The Boise starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 13-3 record.

In his award-winning season Rasdall crafted a 2.18 ERA in 161 innings with 159 strikeouts and 22 walks. Opposing batters hit .209 against him in his 30 starts.

He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jeremy Hurley of the Rome Braves finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Matt Decker of the West Virginia Black Bears finished third with 3 first place votes.
