#1 Pitcher Picked for 2044
Saturday, March 11th , 2045
It was a glorious year for Risto Pandev of the Cleveland (WIN) Indians.

He finished the season with 3 victories and only 3 losses, with an impressive 1.94 ERA. The talented Indians pitcher started 10 games and struck out 74 batters in 60.1 innings and won the Division B Pitcher of the Year Award.

"It means a lot," Pandev said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."

He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 30. Ben Cole of the Cleveland (WIN) Indians finished second in voting, while Alexander Hagan of the Houston (WIN) Astros finished third with 1 first place vote.
