Hits Galore: Marvin Drills 6 Hits Saturday, December 9th , 2045 Mark Marvin said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at McCormick Field, and it showed in the box score. The Tampa Bay (WIN) second baseman had a fantastic 6-for-7 day against the Asheville Tourists, leading his club to victory, 20-2. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Marvin said later." Mark Marvin doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Marvin currently has a .413 batting average with 19 hits, 1 homers, 6 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .460 OBP. |
