Injury Setback for Rays Rheaume Sunday, December 31st , 2045 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Tampa Bay (WIN) Rays today as they learned that right fielder Jake Rheaume had suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained groin muscle and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. So far this season, Rheaume has recorded a .220 batting average with 22 hits, no home runs, 3 RBIs, 11 runs scored and a .310 OBP. |
