Season Over for Allport Tuesday, August 15th , 2045 Obviously disappointed, Josh Allport confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Pittsburgh starting pitcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 24-year-old Allport suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 08/13/2045 and has been out of action since. In 7 starts this season Allport has rung up a 3-3 record and a 5.12 ERA. |
