Mariners Cardamone Hits 400th Homer

It was a historic day in the life of Willie Cardamone. The 36-year-old Seattle center fielder recorded the 400th homer of his career in the Mariners 12-6 triumph over the Houston Astros.
In the clubhouse after the game, Cardamone told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one."
Cardamone is hitting the ball at a .294 clip over his career. In 2005 games he has delivered 2300 hits, 400 home runs with 1277 RBIs and scored 1412 times.
