Detroit Loses Franklin Rojas Sunday, August 27th , 2045 The Tigers received bad news this morning. Franklin Rojas will miss 4 weeks due to a herniated disc. He sustained the injury in the Detroit-Chicago game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Rojas sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Thus far this season, Rojas has tossed 142.2 innings in 24 starts, fanned 112 batters, walked 52 and put up a 3.97 ERA with 10 wins and 6 losses. |
