Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, September 18th , 2045 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Colorado-Seattle contest at Colorado Field. The Rockies Jason Andrews and the Mariners Bas Kooy will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year Andrews is batting .245 with 28 home runs, 80 RBIs and 57 runs scored. To date this season Kooy has compiled a 20-7 record with a 2.87 ERA in 32 starts. |
